except for a small dent in the pendulum bob, this is in excellent original condition, with perfect porcelain dial, with not a single chip nor hairline. Typical of most timepieces, this one has HarrisonÕs ratchet maintaining power, and Graham style dead beat escapement with adjustable pallets, Bottom 3 finials may be replacements, turned to proper profile. Such slender examples represent the transition from the late Biedermeier period to the Alt Deutsch period when carvings and decorations became popular. Whether cases were slender or wide, cases became highly 3 dimensional with many accents and decorations. Ht 44Ò
