French for ÒMiller and SonsÓ cast brass and hand-painted enamel panels, 8 days, time and strike, mantel clocks, caf on movement caf with gold-leafed wood base, c1890 the original patina on this ornate case has darkened but there is no damage, and the lovely painted panels are intact except for possible lines on the small bottom scene. The movement ticks and strikes on its bell but was not tested long term. The base has some losses to the gilding, and the silk is worn. Pendulum number matches the movementÕs. Ht on wood base is 18 1/2Ò
