Unsigned New England tall clock, 8 days, time, strike and calendar, weight driven movement in a birch case with inlaid medallion on trunk door, fret work crest, reeded columns flanking hood door, reeded corner columns flanking trunk door and a painted iron dial, c1820 the movement and case are associated but work well. The medallion in the base plinth is absent and there is a split in the base plinth. The fret work is replaced and one of the chimneys is absent. The one chimney present was not photographed but will be included with clock. The pendulum is missing suspension spring and the finials are absent. The dial is in good condition and from the style is probably a bit earlier, c100. The hands appear original. Ht 86Ò
