many clocks from this era were made to operate for 56 hours, however weÕve run this clock for a week, and it holds up well. This is a relatively small clock, the chapter circle 3.6Ó or 9cm, and overall height of the clock 12Ò [30.5cm] with handle up. The top 4 brass finials are lacking and the holes filled. Goat and floral caryatids adorn each corner, and proper bracket feet are present. The composite dial retains original cast spandrels and matt center. Date shows through aperture above 6. Both front and rear door locks are present, however key is lacking; doors can be gently pried open and a key can be made. Case with nicks and scrapes commensurate with age. An attractive small clock in overall very good condition. Also included is a small shelf (not photographed). Ht again 12Ó
