Clocks- 2 (Two) German Black Forest two weight, 30 hours, time and strike, wall clocks: GHS (Gordian Hettich Sohn) cuckoo with brass cast plates; wood shield-dial wag-on-wall with wood plates; late 19th century the BHS has a nicely painted case and plump carved bird, and a quality movement that ticks and cuckoos with functioning bellows. Its pendulum is new and incorrect. The wood-plate clock has its original painted dial that has yellowed and bowed as usual. There are many lines of handwriting on the inside of the back plate. It ticks and strikes, too, but neither was tested long term with weights attached. Hts of cases 12Ò and 11Ó
