Lenzkirch, Germany, a large ÓFreischwingerÒ, fitting into the category of ÓGrossherrenuhrÒ, with 10Ó dial and 45Ò case, and with profuse cast brass decorations, as-found, Serial Nr. 63811 c1860 This clock got separated from its original top, and someone has fitted parts from another old German top....such that the motif / appearance is VERY good, however there are no brass trimmings as the original would have had. Otherwise, this is a good original clock. And with a well made count wheel striking movement, model 26, series 2, that is clean and in good running order. The silvered dial does have some discoloration around numerals 3 and 7. Ht 45Ó
