Clocks- 2 (Two): (1) Jeromes & Darrow, Bristol, Conn., 30 hours, weight driven, time and alarm shelf clock in a fully carved half column and splat mahogany case, c1830. (2) Silas Hoadley, Plymouth, Conn., 30 hours, weight driven, time and alarm shelf clock in a stenciled quarter column and splat case, c1835. (1) The mahogany case has some original finish. There are veneer repairs, cracks and missing pieces. The feet appear to be later replacements. The hands and dial are original with paint loss to the dial. The, 30 hours, time & alarm movement is missing most of the alarm train including the strike hammer, bell and alarm dial. There are no weights. Both door glasses are original but the tablet has had restoration. Ht 26 1/2Ò. (2) The case has had some additional finish. The painted dial has been varnished over and has darkened. The hands are original. The splat and quarter columns are nicely stenciled. There are no finials. The label is in nice condition. The bottom door mirror is old but not original. The upper door glass is original but is cracked in two areas. Ht 25 1/2Ó.
