Waterbury Clock Co., Waterbury, Conn., "Parlor No. 44" porcelain shelf clock with a visible escapement spring driven, 8 days, time and hour/half-hour strike movement, c1897. The porcelain case has numerous chips and cracks around the brass bezel. The porcelain dial has hairline cracks at the numerals 3 and 11. There is also some damage to the recessed portion of the porcelain dial. The hands are original. The pendulum bob is absent. The movement is signed. Ht 14 1/4".
