Co., 8 days, OG shelf clock case, c1845 (now with 30 hours, time and strike, weight driven brass movement); (2) Jeromes, Gilbert, Grant & Co., 30 hours, time and strike, weight driven brass movement bevel case shelf clock, c1839; (3) American Clock Co., New York, 8 days, time and strike, spring driven brass movement painted iron front shelf clock, c1855 (1) Mahogany veneered case in an old finish with loss at the corners. This eight day labeled case now fitted with a 30 hour brass movement. Dial is replaced. Correct period hands. Bottom tablet a poor replacement; (2) Mahogany veneered case with old finish with replaced veneer in the wrong direction on both front edges. Original zinc dial with wear. Replaced hands. Original upper glass, but tablet replaced by a Victorian litho. Door lock missing. OK label inside the case. (3) Painted iron front case with paint loss and some surface rust to the exposed cast iron in the gold paint area and the lower section of the painted flower panel. Original paper dial is showing its age with surface abrasion and stains. Minute hand is not original. Nice label inside the case. Ht 19 1/2"
