Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "St. Paul", walnut veneered mantel clock with a spring driven, 8 days, time and strike movement., ca 1886. The walnut veneered surface retains its original finish, although it is a bit rough in places and there some areas where the finish has lifted off. The paper dial has been darkened with a stain or finish which has partially lifted. It is also detached from the bezel and needs to be resoldered. The hands are original. The movement is signed. The beveled glass mirror pendulum is in nice condition. Ht 20 3/4".
