although the Gilbert matches the "Laurel" illustration in Ly, its rear label identifies the clock as "The Boston". Ht 24". It has been nicely refinished, and its original paper dial is only slightly toned. The "Monarch is missing its entire lower section, its top urn, and top side finials (now brass from pillar and scroll). Its original paper dial has toned and faded. Both tick and strike but were not tested long term. Hts. 24" and 19"
