Clocks- 5 (Five) 8 day: French, time and strike, stained and enameled hardwood and cast brass portico mantel clock, c1870; French white marble, time and strike mantel clock, Japy Freres movement 1855 Medaille; Seth Thomas 4-jewel small mahogany, time only desk clock; Seth Thomas round-top Adamantine time and strike; Seth Thomas "Sharon 10W" steeple shelf clock with spring driven, 8 days, time & strike movement c1961; 19th and 20th centuries the portico's architectural case has an impressive pediment, finely engraved brass dial and bezel, fancy gridiron pendulum, and ornate column bases and capitals. The movement, with count wheel and bell striking, is unsigned and needs pallet adjustments to engage the escape wheel, Ht 19". The white stone cased clock has dial hairlines and a dial chip at the winding hole, and no pendulum, Ht 10"; the desk clock has a worn surface, and is not ticking, Ht 4 1/2"; the Adamantine is dark and dirty, its dial tarnished and veneer peeling off the rear door, Ht 9 1/2". The Seth Thomas shelf clock is in nice condition. Ht 15 1/4".
