Chauncey Jerome, New Haven, Conn., 8 days, time and strike, spring driven brass fusee movement round gothic or beehive shelf clock, c1848 Rosewood veneered case in an old finish with minor loss and repairs on the base. Original painted dial with paint loss at the mounting screws, winding arbors and between 5 and 6 o'clock. Original acid etched and cut glass tablet. Minute hand has been repaired and likely a replacement made from a longer hand. Geneva stops not complete. Movement signed. Remains of original label inside case. Ht 19"
