The oak case is in excellent condition with its original finish. The rear left foot has some damage and has been reattached to the case differently from the right hand rear foot. The silvered and brass dial shows a little wear at the chapter ring. The hands are original. According to the New Haven catalog, the clock is fitted with a standard, 8 days, time and strike movement for a cabinet clock. Then the Westminster chime movement is added. This movement is covered under an 1896 Canadian patent issued to Wilcock and second 1896 patent issued for the Gunther Resonator. A very interesting clock. Ht 18 1/2".
