Ansonia Clock Co., New York, NY, "Marquis" crystal regulator with a visible escapement and an 8 days, hour and half hour strike, spring driven, movement, c1904. The basic brass portion of the clock shows oxidation and has lost its luster. All gilt embellishments are present, but show some wear. The porcelain dial is in excellent condition with one minor hairline crack at the strike side winding hole. The hands are original and the movement is signed. Ht 15 1/2".
