(2) Waterbury Clock Co., Waterbury, Conn., "Aubert", 8 days, time and strike, spring driven brass movement crystal regulator mantel clock. Oval brass case in need of a polishing. Unusual case in that it has top that lifts up to gain access to the interior screws or maybe to hide valuables. Original porcelain dial has a small chip on the edge at 9 o'clock. Original hands. All the beveled glass panels are fine. Replaced pendulum. (2) Brass case with some gilding remaining on the embossed top and bottom. Original porcelain dial has hairline scratches. Original hands and pendulum. The front and right side beveled glass panel is chipped. The other two glass panels are fine. Movement is signed.
