movement is from another clock, filled corbel holes, and case back has been sprayed flat black. Outer case has been painted with heavy black paint and rubbed to gloss, but there is some orange peel and imperfections. Strike hammers have been soldered to their hubs. Movement restrung with gut, and does run and go through proper strike sequence. Hammers do not currently hit the rods. One weight does not match. Left side glass loose. Engraved bob, weights smooth.
