The case is in very good condition with some original finish. The painted wooden dial is original and in nice condition. The carved paw feet and back turned feet are original. The hands are original, the bell a replacement. The upper door glass is original as is the lower tablet, though it has significant restoration to the painted scene. The impressive flame finials are too large and not appropriate for this clock, but would embellish a nice tall clock. The label has been largely eaten by silverfish, but they do not like ink, so the maker's name is clearly legible. Ht 30"
