Clocks- 2 (Two):American: (1) George Mitchell, 30 hours, time and strike weight driven wood movement half column & splat shelf clock; (2) George Mitchell, 30 hours, time and strike weight driven wood movement half column & splat shelf clock, both earlier style cases with columns on sash, c1830. (1) Refinished mahogany veneered case with a couple dings on the base and small veneer repair at the top. Top blocks and splat are replacements. New stenciling on the columns and splat. Modern tablet is by Moberg. Original painted dial has been restored and hands original. Nice label inside case; (2) Mahogany veneered case with original finish with minor loss on the base and repairs to the veneer cross strip. Faded, but original stenciling on the columns, splat and blocks. Original painted dial is soiled with some wear. Hands not original. Clear glass replaces original tablet or mirror. Same label as #1 inside the case.
