Ansonia Clock Co., New York, NY, "Reflector" wall clock in a mahogany case with a spring driven, 8 days, time and hour/half-hour strike movement, c1886. The mahogany case has a very light finish. One of the cross piece moldings at the base of the clock has been replaced with a piece of less workmanship. The paper dial has aged. The hands are original.The movement looks very similar to the standard Ansonia movement found in this model except this movement is unsigned except for a "J" inside a diamond which is inside a circle. Ht 35".
