(2) Brewster & Ingrahams., Bristol, Conn., 30 hours, time and strike, spring driven brass iron back plate movement sharp gothic or steeple clock, both c1845. (1) Mahogany veneered case in an old finish with a chipped bottom edge. Period painted dial has scattered paint loss and wear, but may have come from another clock since the large center opening suggests it was originally from a clock with a center alarm disc. Original hands and tablet. Right finial has tip damage. Brass key escutcheon is missing. Clean label inside the case. (2) Mahogany veneered case in an old finish with a veneer chip on door, case tip and the right finial and block replaced. Left finial has tip damage. Original signed and painted dial has loss at the mounting pins and the winding arbors. Original hands and tablet with loss. Nice label inside the case.
