France, decorative mantel clock, the case of gilded and silvered stamped brass foliate elements in the rococo style, and with porcelain flowers, Roman numeral white enamel dial, fancy gilt hands, 8 days pendule a Paris movement with silk thread suspension, striking on a bell, the back plate marked "B & C Paris", mounted to a velvet covered wooden base with gilt feet and central ornament, c1850 case very good with minor tarnish, porcelain flowers good with a few minor losses, base recovered, dial dirty, and with a hairline at 1:30, hands with loss to gilding, ticks and strikes, bell replaced, no dome.
