Seth Thomas Clock Co., Plymouth Hollow, Conn., "Regulator No. 1", 8 days, weight driven brass movement wall timepiece, c1862 The finish on the case is so alligatored it is difficult to determine what veneer was used. Our best guess is the veneer is rosewood. It is in as found condition with veneer missing on the bottom bracket and the right side. A piece is missing on the bottom bracket and a half round piece of molding on the right side. A section of the backboard is missing. The center area above the word "Regulator" in the original tablet is missing. Original hands. The wood pendulum rod for the embossed bob is missing. There is no seconds bit or weight. Ht 34"
