Welch, Spring & Co., Forestville, Conn., "Patti, VP" mantel clock case, c1880, with later spring driven, 8 days, time and strike movement, This clock visually appears correct, but the original movement has been replaced with a newer movement that is not a Welch. The dial is a replacement made to fit winding arbors on this movement at 4 and 8. The case itself is in very nice condition with original gilt decorated door glass. The pendulum bob is correct. The hands are similar to Patti hands, but modern. Ht 19".
