dial pan and paper dial are modern replacements; small seconds bezel is old; brass weight is modern. Original hour hand got broken and another old hand replaces it; Original hand in bag. Bottom 5" trim is new and does not look bad, but SHOULD be a simple turned finial. See Tran Duy Ly's book titled "Gilbert Clocks", page 340 for image of what finial should look like. One retainer nut on movement replaced. Original beat scale has been moved to bottom of case, as the veneer on case-back has buckled. Otherwise this is a good old clock, with mostly original finish and a solid movement that is in good running order. Note pendulum hangs on front of movement, and dial must be removed to hang the rod.
