the grain paint is in good condition with some wear. The hood door glass is loose and will need to be secured The glass in the pendulum aperture is cracked. The weights and pendulum are period. Morbier cases such as this are hard to find, secured in good condition, as most were soft wood and rotted away or were eaten by wood worms. Tens of thousands of Morbiers, originally cased, have been sold in the US in the past 50 years as wall clocks as their cases have been destroyed. Ht 92 1/2", Width 19 1/2"
