French figural mantel clock, cast spelter winged figure signed Mare Cassavetti on onyx and cast brass base with enameled plates, 8 days, time and strike, unsigned movement with count wheel and bell striking, c1890 this large, heavy and fragile clock is in very good original condition with no losses or damage. The floral painted porcelain dial, and the beveled glass, are fine. The plaque attached to the statue base reads "L'Amour Irresistible par Mme. Cassavetti, Beaux Arts 1896". The movement ticks and strikes but was not tested long term. Ht 32 1/2"
