Clocks- 2 (Two) European carved walnut, 8 days, spring wound, time and strike wall clocks: French hanging clock with Paris retailer sticker inside, square brass movement; German Black Forest cuckoo, large movement with skeletonized cast brass plates; late 19th century the ornately carved and dark stained French clock has its original finish with only a few very minor nicks. Its blue-number porcelain cartouches have a few cracks. Ht 28 1/2". The cuckoo's carved crest and front surround have some damage and losses but are mostly complete and attractive. The cuckoo's bellows are newer and functioning. Ht without pendulum 23". Both brass movements tick and strike but were not tested long term.
