the large heavy inlaid case, with front butterfly, retains a glossy finish with some minor dings. The thick beveled glass is fine; the silvered dial (signed France) shows some tarnish; the minute hand has been repaired; the bezel does not stay closed. The square movement (signed "Made in Germany") ticks and chimes but was not tested long term, and the gong hammers need adjustment. The small pineapple finials need to be secured and straightened. 24" x 13" x 9"
