Refinished mahogany veneered case with a small repair on the base and a couple age cracks in the door veneer. Original painted dial is very nice for its age. Original painted tablet with large gilt border as often found on Mitchell clocks, has a later applied background to stabilize the image. Original hands. Pineapple finials appear to be newer, but proper. This is an early stenciled column example using the basic pillar & scroll case, but with larger, stenciled columns. Ht 30"
