Angelus Watch Co., Switzerland, for Tiffany & Co., New York, golf themed desk clock, portoro marble base supporting an ebonized wood stand, mounted with a silver gilt repoussE plaque depicting a golfer putting, with two applied gilt branches with oak leaves above, and with clock mounted at the top, the 8 days, 15 jewel, minute repeating nickel plate movement with centrifugal governor, lever escapement, and cut bimetallic balance, Arabic numeral white enamel dial, signed "Tiffany & Co., 8 Days Repeater", with blued steel luminous hands, case back dated May 14, 1932 CONDITION: Marble very good with one small chip at back right corner, ebonized stand very good with a few minor marks, gilding on plaque worn from cleaning, also with a few dings, other gilding with minor wear, movement with minor scratches, gongs reattached to base and discolored from heat, consignor has had the movement serviced, it is running well and striking correctly, minor split in back cover at edge, dial with minor flakes concealed by bezel at 7:00- 8:00, hands good with some losses to luminous compound, seconds with minor oxidation, Ht 12"
