Although the case is not old, it is well made and the carving shows the extra fine skills of the maker. The signed movement itself bears serial #284727, has been cleaned and re-strung and is in good working order. Typical single train movement with maintaining power and adjustable pallets. Mounting bracket and pendulum are proper Lenzkirch items. There is a small hole in top rear of case from pushing a hanging nail through the case-back. If the case were old, this would be a $2500+ clock, Ht 43"
