overall condition is "nearly new". There are some veneer chips to the mahogany on the base bracket, probably shipping damage. The movement itself is well made, seems to run OK. Rear of movement signed in modern block letters : HORA-770. Well carved spires appear as metal, but are wood. Rt side glass is loose. Similar clocks are sold today in Budapest and Vienna as "Antique". Here at our auction, you have the advantage of knowing the origin of the item.
