Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., for Tiffany & Co., New York, gold plated, 8 days, time and house strike mantel clock, #179984, 1927 this heavy ornate case probably was made exclusively for Tiffany since we do not see it in Demeter's book, and there is a Tiffany stamp on the bottom. The gold plating is worn in some areas but the look overall is still very good, with some areas of possible finish restoration. The "special" silvered dial with applied brass numerals has some minor tarnish spots. Original hands. The signed numbered movement ticks and strikes but was not tested long term. Ht 14 1/2"
