Lenzkirch, Germany, miniature Freischwinger model No. 671, oak and oak veneer open well case with turned and scroll sawn elements, and mounted with a profusion of cast brass ornament, the removable top crowned with a brass mermaid form wind vane, Roman numeral silvered dial with decorative center, blued steel hands, cast brass pendulum with scrolls and foliate ornament, spring driven, 8 days time and strike movement, serial #923583, c1895 replaced carved elements at cornice above caryatids, one carved piece missing at middle right, six finials/ drops properly turned & replaced, turned piece at base of wind vane with chip, bezel glass missing, dial with minor discoloration, minute hand replaced, Otherwise an interesting and original clock.
