Someone found a case with the correct dial opening and then added two inches to the depth and 3 inches to the height in order to accommodate the large and complex movement. The movement has been cleaned; it now has brass cable in lieu of chains. Chimes on your choice of Westminster tune on gongs or Cambridge chime on 8 bells. The hour is struck on a deep toned cathedral gong. The movement runs and chimes, The planetary assembly will need adjustment. Very heavy. Ht 27"
