Asa Munger & Co., Auburn, New York, 8 days, time and strike, weight driven brass movement column and carved splat shelf clock, c1832 Mahogany and mahogany veneered case with an old finish with a small veneer repair on the base and on the top just below the splat. Both tablets in the bottom door are modern replacements as is the dial surround tablet. Reverse stenciled glass panels flanking upper door have some loss. Original painted dial is in very nice and signed. Hands are not original and the seconds hand is missing. Original wallpaper and label with some loss inside the case. Glass door knobs are replaced. Nice set of original pewter pulleys. Ht 40"
