Brewster, Bristol, Conn., 8 days, time and strike, spring driven brass movement with detached fusees, round gothic or beehive clock, c1839 Mahogany veneered case with original finish that has been nicely rubbed down, showing the figured veneer. Minor veneer missing on the right side of base. Original painted wood dial with gilt chapter has scattered loss and wear. Original hands, acid etched tablet and green paper backing inside case. Rack and snail striking movement stamped "No 4492" retains original Geneva stops. Ht 19"
