the grain painted surface is original and looks superb. The massive 10" & 8" bells, surmounted behind the pediment are approximately 3/8" thick and give a deep resonant loud sound. The white enamel dial is also excellent. This impressive clock is in fantastic condition. The consignor states it stood in a Railroad Station forum which seems plausible. Original crank included. Ht 100", Width 33 1/2", Depth 17"
