Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "Watchman's Clock" with punch stations for two watchmen, wall clock, 8 days, time only, weight driven movement in an oak case with painted metal dial and reverse lettering on glass, c1888 the clock is in excellent original condition with a rubbed down matte finish and minor flaking on dial. The weight has been replaced and there is a hole in the right side of the case approximately the size of a quarter to allow for wires to send signals to the punching mechanism. Nice gilt and black and gilt reverse lettering on glass. Ht 59", Width 21 1/2", Depth 10 1/2"
