Chinese Large Bracket mantel clock, 8 days, time and quarter strike on two bells, spring driven movement with fusee, verge escapement and center sweep in a three piece Chinese highly and well carved rosewood case including bracket and swivel base with white enamel dial and engraved brass dial surround, circa late 19th century, some parts later the clock and bases are in excellent condition. The clock was ticking and striking at consignor's home. The swivel base is later than the well carved signed bracket, which appears to be period. Ht 25", Width 15", Depth 11 1/2"
