Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Fashion No. 8", 8 days, time and strike spring driven brass movement double dial calendar clock, c1880 Walnut case in nice condition in original finish. Original time dial and calendar dials have minor paint loss at the winding arbors and a couple of other spots, but quite good considering how S. T. dials often flake. Original hands with the tip on the minute broken off. Original damascene pendulum. The gilt "Fashion" name on the glass has some wear to the letter F. The date rollers have age darkened. A very clean directions label on the back of the calendar door. Ht 32"
