Walnut case in an old and possibly original finish. These cases had composite castings of fancy work made from crushed shells that were easily molded. The original paper dial on original pan is torn in places with areas missing. Original paper calendar dial on original pan with losses on the edges and at the calendar openings. Calendar roller paper has been replaced. Period hands are most likely original, but calendar hand is a replacement. The bottom bracket looks original with the bottom molding possibly replaced. Original finials. Ht 49"
