The mahogany veneer case is in the Alt Deutsch style with a pitched pediment top, fluted 3/4 round Deutsch topped by carved Corinthian capitals and bulbous bases over a stylized base. the movement and the pendulum, which are mismatched, have been fitted to this case and will need some alteration to bring this case back to its former glory. The case itself is in good condition with original finish and old glass bottom finial cut off and replaced with a period finial that needs to be fitted. Two standard brass Vienna regulator weights are also included.
