Refinished mahogany and mahogany veneered case in very nice condition with a repair to the original scrolls left tip. The shiny finish on the case needs rubbing down. Original wood dial has been professionally restored as evidenced by the photo of the dial before restoration. The feet appear replaced. The tablet done on old glass is by Tom Moberg. Period pewter hands. There is no label inside the case. Finials are period and a style seen on other outside escapement Terrys. A picture of this clock before its restoration can be found in: "Eli Terry and the Connecticut Shelf Clock", 2nd edition, revised by Kenneth D. Roberts and Snowden Taylor, pg 84
