Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Gallery 24 Inch", wall clock, 15 days, time only, double spring driven movement in a stepped round mahogany case with a, painted zinc dial. the case retains its original finish, nicely rubbed down. There is a minor repair to outer step on front of case, refixing the molding. There is an age split in case back. The dial is in excellent condition and retains its original paint with a very subtle overcoat and the hands are original. The movement has recently been cleaned and has been keeping time on the consignor's wall. This is an excellent example in original condition. The last example we sold in mahogany brought $4600 plus 10% Buyer's Premium in our April 1, 2003 auction.
