Terry & Andrews, Bristol, Conn., 8 days, time and strike spring brass movement steeple on frame or steeple on steeple shelf clock. Mahogany veneered case in an old finish has a little damage on the left side back edge on the base, repair on the flat front edge corner just above the bottom door, small damage just below the top right finial and some damage on the top back edge. Left top finial has some tip damage. The dial looks to be original has been repainted. The winding arbor holes have been elongated most likely from the movement having been repositioned in the case. It has an opening above the chapter ring for what purpose we do not know. Perhaps something like a flag was to be attached to the pendulum that would swing back and forth in front of the opening. Both tablets and hands are original. Movement is signed.
