(1) Mahogany veneered case in original finish with minor damage on the base. Splat and one chimney are replacements. Right chimney is damaged. Original painted dial is very clean. Original tablet (with what appears to be the Plymouth Hollow, Conn., Church) with loss to the black background. Stenciling is gone off the columns. There is evidence to suggest the case may have had pillar & scroll feet. Clean label inside the case noting ivory bushings. Ht 26" (2) Mahogany veneered case in an old finish with some small veneer pieces missing on various places. Original painted dial with repairs across the center area and enhancements in the center. Original hands. Tablet, although period and New York style, must be from another clock as it has been cut in half. Movement is stamped J. L. Smith. Fairly clean label inside the case. Ht 25.5"
