Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Office No. 1" wall clock with an 8 day spring driven brass timepiece movement in a mahogany veneered case, c1880. The case retains its original finish. The painted dial is original but has had a newer glossy surface applied. The hands are original. The upper and lower door glasses are original, however the gilt design on the lower glass is now gone. The interior case label is in excellent condition. The movement is signed.
