Clocks- 2 (Two) French: 8 day time and strike movements with Marti back plate stamps; one is black marble mantel with seated woman cast brass figural signed "Aubert", on top, visible escapement; the other is a cast brass cartel wall clock with cream enamel dial and blue numbers. both cases are in very good condition with original surfaces and only very minor edge chips on the black stone. The visible escapement has steel pallet pins, its movement has rack & snail striking. The wall clock, with convex glass, has count wheel and bell striking. Both movements tick and strike. Heavy and fragile for shipping. The cartel is 23 x 12 x 5 in; the mantel is 19.5 x 16.5 x 6.75 in
